Live Edge Boot Bench

Big leaf maple seat with live edge and cherry butterflies. Straight grain cherry frame with angled bridle joints. I found the slabs on kijiji and they were in pretty rough shape. Had to fill a few holes with epoxy and during flattening ended up only 5/8″ thick. This meant the frame had to be supportive and I couldn’t waste any wood which lead to the seat design.
