Art Deco Bookcase

My client wanted a visually interesting bookcase. I used art deco references and shapes. The materials are hard maple, Sapele and back walnut. It can be taken apart in three pieces. The bottom shelf section includes the drawers, with the middle T section bolted onto the back. The top section is then bolted onto that. The drawer handles are the centered vertical pieces. I also made eight bookends which slip over the top of metal bookends.
