Contemporary Ladderback

A contemporary ladderback chair was based on Appalachian and Shaker designs with a more modern flair of curved back posts and front legs. This chair was built with spalted maple finished with shellac. The seat is woven with natural and black Shaker tape for a comfortable seat aided with the curved back support.
