Sculpted entry table
I designed and built this table to grace the entry of a new home in Anchorage, AK. It is made of cherry and Alaskan birch with an ebony drawer pull and through tenon wedges. It features a floating top, sculpted joinery, a lower slat shelf and hanging dovetailed drawer. A rock selected by the owners is scribed and sculpted into the foot of the birch leg. The table is 72″ long x 34″ high x 13″ deep.

That is one of the coolest designs I have seen in a long time. I love the figure of the cherry.
Fun!
