For many years, when visiting my parents home place, I would admire a burled maple tree shading neighbor’s front lawn. Blind luck allowed me to rescue it from becoming firewood when I was driving by as it was being cut down. I was able to create several projects from the spectacular burl. This desk was the the highlight.
