Queen Ann Coffee Table
Making a table with Claw and Ball feet has been on my to do list for decades. The original plan was to make one from mahogany. The figured walnut boards used for the top and aprons caught my attention and I purchased them without knowing where they would be used. After setting them up in the shop it hit me that those would work for the Queen Ann style coffee table I was planning on. After reviewing a variety of techniques to carve the feet I did several practice feet. The aprons and legs are mortised and tenoned. The table is 16h x 20d x 38w
