A Console Table
Wayne’s rural, ocean-front studio setting provides limitless sources of inspiration. This console table design was born from watching sea birds amusing themselves, playing on the wind, especially during a whitecap-provoking gale. But there’s more to it than that. He chose book-matched lacewood for the tabletop because of its “interconnected, woven figure, suggesting our interconnectedness.”
