Cabinet With A Marquetry Motif

The need for pleasing storage in Brian’s living room spawned the creation of this curved-door cabinet with marquetry grasses and dragonflies. The marquetry motif was inspired by his years on the waters of Minnesota lakes. The curly ash reflects the ripples in the water and the iridescence of the Abalam (abalone shell laminate) makes the dragonflies pop off the piece.
