Kumiko Music Stand
Through the pandemic, though he had more time than ever for woodworking, Abraham found himself without motivation. But he began to miss the pursuit of his passion and came across a book on kumiko, using it to grow his skills and his appreciation of the form. Mostly, he realized, “Once the materials are milled, one is left with the quiet use of hand tools, and the precision fitting of parts.” The first piece he made as he re-emerged in his shop was this kumiko music stand for his stepdaughter.
