Walnut and Ash Lounge Chair
Devin bought a Y-shaped walnut slab for this lounge chair, using the curve of the grain to create the curve of the back legs. He mounted the back supports using the threaded rod and epoxy method in Tim Coleman’s article from 2020 (FWW #285). Then he dusted off his sewing machine and amped up his confidence in what he called “minimal sewing skills” to give the upholstery a shot himself.
