Bengt Lidstrom inspired bowl

This bowl is inspired by the Swedish green woodcarver Bengt Lidstrom. The bowl is carved in the bark-up, pith-down style. The heartwood/sapwood contrast increases the focus on the carving. The overall style is that of a Swedish ale bowl, with carved sides and handles on the ends. A black walnut branch and initials are on the bottom.
