White Oak Table

Table top is 1.75” thick with the outer edge build up being 3.75” thick. Table is 5’ wide by 9’ long.
Legs are 50 pounds each, top is 250 + – pounds. During construction the ends of the top were cut off and glued back underneath each of the nine boards of the top to assure color matching and book matching of each plank end. As seen in the last photo, keeping within a strict craftsmanship tradition, the annual rings of the top boards and their built up sections were all flipped and alternated to assure a long lasting permanent flat surface.
