This vanity is the second piece I made while studying at the Krenov School Of Fine Furniture. For materials I chose Madrone burl, Mahogany, Port Orford cedar, and Maple. Aesthetically I was inspired both by the material and by the work of James Krenov. I wanted the piece to act as a display for the madrone. Additionally the piece represents an ambitious venture in my journey as a crafts person both in scale and technique.
