Bigger Than Average “Paul Bunyan Jacks”

Tim calls these bigger-than-the-average playthings “Paul Bunyan Jacks.” He made this set for family members to use at a reunion. Each jack has 10 joints. While the curly maple has a striking appearance, it proved to be a challenge to work to a smooth surface. The round balls are stainless-steel door pulls intended for kitchen cabinets. The steel squares are finials made for lamps.
