Native Alder Foyer Table
Bent laminations form the curves of the front apron and the shelf stretchers, and the front of the table top matches these curves. The opposing shelf stretchers add tension to the piece, which is harmoniously pulled together with a hand woven cane shelf. Wrapped cane on the rails ties the piece together. The beauty and luster of the Pacific Northwest Alder is highlighted by the simple form of the piece. Lorin’s work can be found at www.seekswoodworks.com
