An African Zebrawood Spiral Table
The helix or spiral is abundant in nature but certainly less so in furniture design. Abraham was seduced by the idea of using straight sticks to produce spirals; or, rather the perception of spirals. Perhaps the biggest surprise and the greatest source of joy for Abraham was the discovery of the multiple personalities the table would take on as he simply repositioned the base units: turning them, upending them, stacking or separating them.
