I enjoyed designing and engineering this 6 1/2 foot behemoth almost as much as actually birthing it out of a 12/4 slab. The legs taper from 3” to 1 1/2”, and are joined to aprons with large tenons. The beveled top is a two board glue-up, and the drawers are solid oak with full dovetails that were machine made, since this is my first serious project. Very challenging, especially getting this much weight up the basement stairs.
