A cabinet for keeping songs.
33″ Tall x 34″ Wide x 22″ Deep.
This solid red oak cabinet is built for a friend to house her record player, vinyls and speakers. The carcass of the piece is constructed using 44 dovetail joints, the middle division is pinned in its final location with the aid of 8 walnut dowels. Full brass door hinges are complimented by hand forged brass pulls. A box jointed base elevates the cabinet with leveling felt feet. The finish is simply tung oil and a finishing wax.
This project was an absolute blast to design and build.
