Asian-Inspired Floating Top Table in Sapele (after Roussou, FWW Nov/Dec ’12)

Figured Sapele was available at the time, but I felt this piece deserved such glowing linearity across both the top and the lower shelf. The piece is unstained, but finished with three coats of unwaxed shellac topped with and a hard wax finish smooth to the touch. Simple to clean and buff up as needed. Hoping it bring a bit of joy to the highest bidder.
