Frank designed and built this clock as a housewarming gift. He researched antique grandfather clocks and took some design features from them. But wanting it to be whimsical, he incorporated the children’s nursery rhyme “Hickory Dickory Dock” and called the piece “Hickory Dickory Clock.” Instead of the usual pendulum and weights, this clock has a battery movement, allowing the entire inside of the clock to be used for storage.
