Joshua Sterns
Fort Bragg, Calif.
This table is from Joshua’s time at the Krenov School, and Joshua believes it incorporates a few more techniques than are strictly practical timewise, such as veneering, bent lamination, tambours, bird’s-mouth miters, and sliding dovetails. The madrone he used for the drawer fronts, tambours, and end panels contained beautiful red streaks, allowing for gradations of color that add depth and interest.
