Use hand planes to create a flush surface where solid-wood trim meets plywood

One challenge to overcome when applying solid-wood edging to veneer-grade plywood is creating a flush surface where the trim meets the plywood. In this video, furniture maker and woodworking teacher Mario Rodriguez demonstrates his technique, which requires two hand planes and a scraper. He shares tips for creating a seamless transition between trim and panel, and preventing damage to the delicate plywood veneer.
