Micro-Adjustable Router Fence
Joiner’s fence lets you creep up on a perfect fitThe adjustable fence is the key to precision and efficiency, according to Pat Warner. The fence is almost always in play and needs constant adjustment to handle the table’s changing responsibilities. This article shows how to make the a micro-adjustable router fence, which isn’t hard but must be assembled in a specific order. A detailed project plan shows all the parts. He demonstrates how to rout the dadoes, position the fence halves, and add the rule, the dial and the micro-adjustment assembly. He doesn’t leave out the finish, and adds a few words on using the fence properly.

Where is the parts list?
Bump!! I’m looking for this too!
Hi,
I got this partial list years ago from FWW, and I'm finally getting around to building it. Note that the levers are not listed. I just ordered the dial indicator from Amazon at:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JYCVHLK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If either of you have figured out the specs for the levers, please post the info here. I'd appreciate it.
The file titled "One Person's...." was written by Pat Warner himself.
My router table surface is cast iron, so I won't be able to drill into it for the two large levers securing the base to the cast iron surface. I'm thinking of using MagSwitches, but haven't come to a final design option. Any suggestions?
Good luck, and stay in touch.

I haven’t gotten around building it yet…but the levers as shown in the drawing are pretty standard (1/4-20 and 3/8-18) and can be ordered from McMaster Carr. The larger lever specifies a 3” stud, but that assumed you are screwing through the router table top. You could always thread-tap the cast iron…it’s soft enough to do by hand. Or just make the base wide enough to c-clamp it down at the tables edges.
