I saw this machine at the recent AWFS woodworking show in Las Vegas, and was very impressed.
My friends at Hammer USA asked me to tell you about a drawing they are having for a New Hammer A3-26 jointer / planer worth $3,000. I checked this machine out at AWFS Vegas, and loved it. I planer/jointer fits two serious milling machines in one small footprint, and gets you a wide jointer, which every serious woodworker needs, or at least wants!

Its two jointer tables lift up at once, making it very quick to change over to planing mode. They also ride on hefty dovetailed ways.

Why do they have it on Facebook? Why not just an internet dot com site? I don't want to join Facebook.

There are a number of drawings I've passed on because I don't care to join social media groups.

As a Canadian, I probably can't enter anyway and I agree why do it through Facebook?
Don't worry about it. Once you get to the Facebook page (and fill out the form) the Submit button does not work so you can't enter anyway.

Despite my reservations about social media groups I proceeded to Facebook only to experience kingmanson's results. If fill out the form, press the submit button, and nothing happens. Why in the world do we have to go from Fine Woodworking through Facebook?
What about non US FWW readers. Is it possible to sign up for the jointer-planer giveway?
you have to fill out all the required fields (starred)for the submit button to work - there is no error message to that effect
Facebook is just a way to get to a large number of interested people - it looked like there were over 1600 people who were connected to Felder via Facebook
I agree it is not for everyone but Facebook is VERY popular
I have talked to Felder sales people about purchasing some of their equipment, but I'm not joining facebook for anyone.
I think it might be worth $3000 to not enter and avoid Facebook derived avalanche of solicitations. Why, FW, put us through this? Are there not enough interested cabinet builders in your data base?
A poor muddle management PR decision.
If you feel that strongly about FB - then don't enter the drawing.
I have nothing against FB, but when I followed the links, the best I could do was get to the drawing only to find a dark gray curtain over the the page.
For those of you blaming FWW for the Facebook decision, read again because Hammer is the one making that requirement. FWW is just the messenger; don't shoot the messenger. I despise Facebook as much as anyone though and will not be giving my information away either. Pretty sad way for Hammer to give something away.
